Derek Symons - Salcombe Art Club

Life drawing and painting are a challenge to the artist's accuracy in representation of the subject, while plants and landscape, particularly the sea, provide freedom for imagination in their expression. I have recently been surprised to find that creation of abstract images is challenging and fascinating.  Art is a very fulfilling activity in retirement years.
